Fantastic day out, in fact the best day we have had this year. ISUZU supplied 2 factory cars & staff & TJM provided a tricked out 4WD & a representative, then there were 12 of us ISUZU owner plebs.
We learnt heaps about our cars & how to use them as well as having heaps of fun. ISUZU also provide a great breakfast, lunch & afternoon tea.
All the ISUZUers getting ready to board the ferry on a glorious morning.
Getting on.
On board & the walkers embarking.
Dave giving us the drum on what our vehicles can do & how to do it.
Arriving among the wrecks on Moreton Island.
Off the ferry & lined up ready to go.
Stunning was an understatement.
Whats left of some wartime gun emplacements. The beach has receded leaving them all at sea.
Island track.
Back down to the beach again.
Another wreck with a story.
ISUZU Dave.
A break at a very small, basic resort.
Resort tent unit.
As above.
Morning tea.
Bogged, on purpose.
Dig.
Stick board thing in.
And idle out with no wheel spin.
Lunch stop for the ISUZSs
Lunch pano.
Lunch pano.
Me.
Yvonne.
Me again.
Pano Cape Moreton.
Cape Moreton.
Cape Moreton Lighthouse.
From the Lighthouse.
There were 6 whales frolicking, but I was always too slow to catch them out of the water.
Trendy pictograph.
Tried a few Ks in the soft sand, no problem.
Heading back across the Island.
Mounting up to head home.
Farewell Moreton Island.
Brisbane in the distance.
Past the Port Of Brisbane.
